Veggie Grill, Seattle WA

Location: 2681 Northeast University Village Street, University Village, Seattle, WA 98105, USA

It wasn't until just after we left Seattle that the first Veggie Grill opened. I was sad to miss it, but excited to get the chance on our recent trip. We started with the chill out wings served with BBQ sauce and chipotle ranch. These were very tasty with a really meaty texture. Raymond really liked them.

My favorite thing about Veggie Grill is that you can get the sandwiches and burgers on a bed of steamed kale instead of bread. We tried the All American Stack Kale style - Grilled Veggie-Steak, pickles, lettuce, tomato, crispy onion rings, thousand island dressing with a side of mac and cheese. This was so good and was like a burger salad. It seemed a lot healthier than a normal burger. The mac and cheese was alright. Not my favorite, but not terrible either. Raymond didn't really like it so I ate most of it. It just didn't have that much flavor.

We also tried the Chocolate Pudding Parfait. This was amazing. I love chocolate pudding, but don't often get some that is like real pudding. This was super tasty with lots of delicious chocolate cookie pieces.

We also took a chocolate chip cookie to go. This was also incredibly good. It was soft which I love and had a great flavor.

Overall - If I still lived in Seattle we would eat here often. I loved everything and even though it is like fast food it is like healthier fast food (or at least you can get some veggies). Delicious!
