Dolores, Berlin Germany

Location: Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 7, 10178 Berlin, Germany

We walked by Dolores the other day around lunchtime so we stopped in to try their burritos. We tried both of the vegan options on the classic burritos menu. First up was the Vegan Friend - mild tomato salsa, Mexican super rice, black beans, fajita veggies, lettuce in a tortilla. This was very tasty. I love black beans, though they are harder to find here. The fajita veggies were very tasty and everything came together into a tasty burrito. They are also huge, so bring your appetite.

We also tried the Vegan Lover - smoky corn soy meat, guacamole, smoky peanut salsa, Mexican super rice, black beans, fajita veggies and lettuce in a tortilla. This was also quite tasty. I like the additions, though it is a little spicy (at the upper level of my spice tolerance. I don't like a lot of spice, but I am getting better). The guacamole did help cool after the spice. Really tasty and huge just like the other one. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite as they were both very good.

Overall - I really enjoyed Dolores. They have two pre-combined options, or make your own with lots of vegan choices. The burritos are huge and a pretty good deal.

California Tortilla, Lancaster PA

Location: 2350 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602, USA

One day while out shopping we needed a quick lunch so we stopped into California Tortilla for a burrito. I ordered the No Meato Burrito - veggies, rice, beans, guacamole, spinach and salsa. This was...nothing special. I could have made it at home, and it would have had more flavor. I mean it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything I would go out of my way for either. There was a ton of rice in it and the rice was just...if I needed something to eat and there were no other options sure I would get it again. But if I could go somewhere else I probably would.

Overall - Just a pretty average burrito. Nothing special and not worth a trip just to get the burrito. I have had much better elsewhere, but if you are in dire need of food and this is your only option it is okay.

Señorita Burrita, Lancaster, PA

Location: 227 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603, USA
From Food
Senorita Burrita is a small burrito place in downtown Lancaster across the street from the art school. For some reason I find it hard to get a good burrito in Seattle and I don't know why...just some veggies, beans, rice and it should be good. We went in here after walking around all day and they had a lot of vegan options - two pre-selected options, or you can create your own choosing from the list of fillings they have (including vegan ground round and sour cream) as well as a vegan chili. We decided on the two pre-selected options.
From Food
The first one was the burrito barley - Sun-dried tomato tortilla, brown rice, pinto beans, corn salsa, romaine lettuce, shredded cabbage, spicy barbeque sauce, and non-dairy sour cream. I didn't know how I would like this one as the spicy barbecue sauce might be too much, but this was my favorite. It was a little sweet and completely delicious! Raymond didn't like it that much and prefered the other one so it worked out as I didn't like the other one as much.
From Food
The second burrito was the west coast burrito - Black bean tortilla, brown rice, vegetarian chili, spinach, Señorita house salsa, and non-dairy sour cream. It was good, but not as good as the burrito barley. I will definitely come back here next time I am in Lancaster.
