O'Asian, Seattle WA

Location: 800 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104, USA

I used to meet up with my old boss for lunch at O'Asian every week as it is one of her favorite restaurants. We stopped going quite a while ago after multiple times they gave us our noodles with chicken and tofu and I just got tired of it and didn't trust them. They have since changed the kitchen staff and the menu and a lot of things so we decided to try it again when we were in town. First up was the Pad Thai. I love rice noodle dishes and I don't get them often here so I was excited. Unfortunately this was just okay. It just didn't have much flavor, but was a little sweet.

We also tried the Chow Fun. This was just not good. Very oily and not much flavor again. Also the tofu in both dishes was just disgusting. I have no idea what they did to it, but it was just like a sponge full of gross water. Not good. I think this is the first time I have ever had tofu that was just inedible. Not good.

Overall - I wouldn't go back to O'Asian. The tofu alone was disgusting and not worth it. That and the noodle dishes had almost no flavor and were just not good.
