The Wallflower trip 2, Vancouver BC

Location: 2420 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3E2, Canada
From Vegan Gastrobot
Our first visit to The Wallflower was so good we had to go back once more before we left Vancouver. I saw that they had a vegan meatless loaf that I wanted to try. We shared the meatless loaf which comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetable. They were so nice and brought it out on 2 plates for us and it was a ton of food! Each of our plates could easily have been a dinner for 1 person…so it is a lot of food. We both couldn’t quite finish it all which is crazy. The loaf itself was bean and veggie – you could see all of the whole beans that make up the loaf. By itself it didn’t have a ton of flavor, but pair with the gravy it was very good. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and good, the steamed veggies rounded out the plate nicely. I wish we would have had more room for dessert to try the ice cream sandwich, or another day so we could have tried the shepherd’s pie as well. Maybe next time. We will have to go back to Vancouver just to try out more food!

Overall – I would still highly recommend The Wallflower. It is definitely in my top 5 places to eat in Vancouver.
