Wayward Vegan Cafe, Seattle WA

Location: 5253 University Way Northeast, Seattle, WA 98105, USA

Back to Wayward for another breakfast! We really did eat here a lot on our trip. We started this morning with a fresh cinnamon roll. Man these are tasty. They are nice and fluffy, not too sweet and just pretty perfect.

We then tried the BBQ burger - house made beef patty, fried onions, tempeh bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce served with fries. I think Wayward's fries are some of my favorite fries ever. They are so tasty. The burger was really good, but a mess. Everything came together in a delicious medley of flavors. So tasty.

We also tried the Three Cheese Melt - cheddar and american cheese, fried mozzarella wedges, turkey, tomato, and mayo on sourdough. So first off I love vegan cheeses for the most part. I usually say the more cheese the better! This however tested my limit. It was a lot of vegan cheese and was almost too much. It was tasty, and greasy and perfect for the day after drinking, but I don't know if I would order it again. It was just too much cheese for me.

Overall - Definitely go to Wayward if you are in Seattle. Everything is amazing.
