One morning while in Denver we got up later than expected so we did not have much time to get some food for breakfast and get out to roller derby. We decided to stop by
Cafe Sanora for some tea and I had heard they had some vegan baked goods. The only vegan treats they had was a sweet potato scone. Normally I am iffy on scones - a lot of times they are really dry and crumbly and just not very good. After eating this one I have come to the conclusion that I have just not had scones. This was unbelievably good. It was moist and just a little bit sweet with walnuts and...just delicious. Definitely pick one up if you stop by for some morning coffee.
